All the very best for 2021!

Dear Friends of the Urantia Revelation,

We at the Urantia Association of Canada would like to bid you all a grand welcome to the new year 2021 and hope you had a good holiday at home with close family, as we all did. No need to understate the relief that we may feel about moving past the uncertainty, challenges, and sorrows of 2020.

When the year began, we had hopes of salvaging the Urantia Global Experience conference, but those hopes were soon obliterated by the pandemic. Instead, and with heartfelt gratitude to all who participated and presented, the year of the Zoom meeting arrived and we managed to salvage some sense of membership and comradery with our readers and the teachings.

Another casualty of the pandemic was the “on-premises” study group. Many groups had online meetings, but social distancing saw the end of coffee and cake and ad-hoc one-on-one discussions. Have you ever tried to get someone’s ear on Zoom with a private message on the sidebar window? It works but it’s pretty awkward stuff, especially when you realize you just messaged everyone “Let us meet outside Timmies later.”

One thing we would like to accomplish in 2021 is to make sure Canadian readers are still getting access to the local and national Urantia news groups and happenings. If you receive this email, and already get links to periodicals like the Urantia Association’s Tidings and Journal, The Urantia Book Fellowship’s Herald, and the Urantia Foundation’s Newsletter, then great. But if you do not, then feel free to click on the links and read some recent editions or get registered to receive them.

There is so much information and infotainment online it is hard to differentiate the wheat from the chaff. Still, Urantia Foundation, Urantia Association, and The Fellowship are sure to lead you to reputable sources. There are also many links on the Urantia Association International site.

Many interesting secondary works are now available, and we would like to provide you with a preview of one of these:  Jesus – Travels and Appearances, which includes maps and a guide to the Master’s many tours of duty. On request, the original high-resolution, twelve (12) page publication can be mailed to you. Please contact us at urantia.cascades@gmail.com if you are interested or want more information.

Please confirm by reply if you would like your email address changed, removed, or have someone to add.

Thank you for your continued interest and devotion to The Urantia Book and its teachings, and for your love and compassion for your Urantia brothers and sisters all across our great country.

All the very best for 2021!
