Who We Are

The Urantia Association of Canada (UAC) was created and chartered by Urantia Association International (UAI) in 1999 at Silver Springs, Ontario. It is a non-profit, educational service organization under the corporate laws of Canada, formed to disseminate the teachings of The Urantia Book to the people of Canada in order to promote, improve, and expand their comprehension and appreciation of cosmology, the relationship of our planet to the universe, the genesis and destiny of humankind, our relation to God, and the true teachings of Jesus.

In so doing, UAC endeavors to increase and enhance the comfort, happiness, and well-being of all people, as individuals and as members of society, through the fostering of a personal religion, a philosophy of living, and a new cosmology commensurate with our intellectual and cultural development.

UAC fosters an in-depth study of the complete text of The Urantia Book through the development of activities such as study groups, seminars, conferences, periodicals, derivative works, study aids, and other dissemination activities. UAC endeavors to create opportunities for the enhancement of students through the natural evolution of learning by thinking, feeling and doing. The development of forums for the exchange of ideas and experiences pertaining to The Urantia Book,  is a primary objective of UAC.

The watchwords of UAC are “Progress and Enlightenment of the Individual

The activities of UAC and its constituent Associations will be guided by the principled teachings of The Urantia Book. The actions of UAC members to disseminate these teachings are based on the spiritual values of service and attraction, accomplished by incorporating the teachings of The Urantia Book into their own lives.

Although a self-governing organization, UAC is supportive of the objectives of the ‘Declaration of Trust’ of the Urantia Foundation.
