Who We Are

The Urantia Association of Canada (the Association) was created and chartered by Urantia Association International in 1999 at Silver Springs, Ontario. It is a non-profit, educational service organization under the corporate laws of Canada, formed to disseminate the teachings of The Urantia Book to the people of Canada in order to promote, improve, and expand their comprehension and appreciation of cosmology, the relationship of our planet to the universe, the genesis and destiny of humankind, our relation to God, and the true teachings of Jesus.

In so doing, the Urantia Association of Canada endeavors to increase and enhance the comfort, happiness, and well-being of all people, as individuals and as members of society, through the fostering of a personal religion, a philosophy of living, and a new cosmology commensurate with our intellectual and cultural development.

The Urantia Association of Canada fosters an in-depth study of the complete text of The Urantia Book through the development of activities such as study groups, seminars, conferences, periodicals, derivative works, study aids, and other dissemination activities. The Association endeavors to create opportunities for the enhancement of students through the natural evolution of learning by thinking, feeling and doing. The development of forums for the exchange of ideas and experiences pertaining to The Urantia Book,  is a primary objective of the Association.

The watchwords of the Urantia Association of Canada are “Progress and Enlightenment of the Individual
